New York Distributor with Infor A+ solves business over the web with Storefront e-Commerce module

A New York distributor of surgical supplies and equipment was looking to re-evaluate their current system. A change in management made them re-think their Infor solution, which was an old version of A+ running in text mode. Their attendance at an MCS seminar broadened their perspective on the product and made them aware of the modules that would enhance their business. This 35 million dollar a year company supplied hospitals, dentists and healthcare facilities throughout the industry. MCS showed them the modules of the Infor A+ solution that they needed. Storefront for e-commerce solved the challenges of doing business over the web. Their business could now be 24 x 7 satisfying their client base.

MCS also introduced additional solutions such as forms @ work (Optio), A+ anywhere, Workflow, Electronic Payments and Infor’s CRM module Correlation. MCS showed them how the A+ GUI software provided the end users with a modern interface and eased the training of new hires.

MCS also provided them with a new model 515 as well as several x-Series servers to satisfy their plans to keep their technology efficient. MCS then wrapped this solution into a IBM lease to make this investment affordable while taking advantage of investment tax credits from the US government.
