NGS-IQ is a versatile business intelligence software designed for the IBM Power Systems™ and IBM i operating system. Its integrated modules work together to satisfy the widest range of business users and data access requirements.

NGS-IQ allows IBM i users to easily view real-time and historical data drawn from DB2, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2 on other platforms while working from a Web browser or popular Windows application such as Microsoft Excel, Access or Word.

Developing your NGS-IQ Data Warehouse

The NGS-IQ data warehouse development system runs on the IBM Power Systems and may be operated from Windows, Web, and 5250 user interfaces. This powerful system supports complex data extraction, cleansing, date arithmetic, consolidation, meta-data development, and Power Systems file transfer.  IS professionals may use the menu-driven and Structured Query Language (SQL) user interfaces of this module to access DB2/400 data bases, including multiple members of the same file and IDDU files.  The system supports one-to-many file relationships; unique key processing; file joins based on derived fields; simple, conditional and custom data cleansing; detail and summary level calculations; and both detail and summary data capture and transfer.

The NGS-IQ data warehouse gives you control over the entire data warehouse and the queries or reports developed in NGS-IQ.  You may secure your data warehouse by user at the library, file, field and record level.  You may also secure individual or group access rights to queries and reports. All data extractions, Power Systems-to-Power Systems data transfers, queries and reports may be tracked on-line via audit trails built into the NGS-IQ system.
